In August 1994, Tony DiCicco became the third head coach in the history of the USA Women's National Team. In just five years, DiCicco has become the winningest coach in U.S. Soccer history, including leading the team to a first ever Gold Medal at the 1996 Olympics. Most recently, DiCicco made history by helping the USA Women's team capture the 1999 Women's World Cup, as one billion people looked on. He also guided the US Team to first place finishes at the US Women's Cup in 1995, 1996, 1997 and 1998. DiCicco's next mission is to take home another Gold Medal at the Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia.
