In 1959, Colin Quinn was born to a couple of Irish teachers in Brooklyn. He grew up in Park Slope, Brooklyn. He started appearing such clubs as "Caroline's" and "The Comic Strip". In 1987 he was on MTV's Remote Control, which ran until 1991. He was a regular on the 1988 comedy show, 2 Hip 4 TV, and also had a cameo in an episode of the Comedy Central show Pulp Comics.
