Jason Alexander
Motivational Performance Actor

Jason Alexander starred in 180 episodes (over nine seasons) of the wildly popular sitcom, Seinfeld, portraying the hapless schlep, George Costanza, making the neurotic, devious, unscrupulous character on one of the more memorable in television series history. The crowning glory of a 20-year acting career, the role earned Alexander six Emmy and four Golden Globe nominations, an American Television and two American Comedy Awards as "Best Supporting Actor", and a "Best Actor" honor (despite the supporting role status) from the Screen Actors Guild.

Winning a scholarship to Boston University' s drama program, Alexander left his studies to pursue his craft. He won a small role in the horror yarn The Burning (produced by Harvey Weinstein), then landed a supporting role in the Stephen Sondheim musical, Merrily We Roll Along, his Broadway debut. In 1984, Alexander played four roles in the Broadway musical The Rink, then created the role of Stanley Jerome in Neil Simon' s semi-autobiographical play, Broadway Bound. From that triumph, he moved back into musicals, and Jerome Robbins' Broadway, his theatrical capstone. For his starring role as the show's Emcee, Alexander danced off with the Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Circle Critics Awards as "Best Actor in a Musical".

In addition to Seinfeld, Alexander' s television work also encompasses the CBS series Everything's Relative, the Elliott Gould Comedy Series, E.R., two ABC musicals, Bye Bye Birdie and Cinderella an HBO's comedy, Dream On, for which he won another Emmy nomination for his guest-starring role. Alexander was nominated for an "American Comedy" honor for hosting duties on the 1994 Emmy Awards and most recently performed with the Boston Pops on PBS.
