James Strock

James Strock is a best-selling author and international speaker on leadership. Strock is also an international expert and speaker on sustainability, energy security, and green technology, bringing to bear unique experience from more than two decades of leadership in the energy-environmental field.

Jim is a dynamic and effective speaker.  His speeches and other presentations elicit strong endorsements, because they are tailored carefully to achieve the goals of audiences and event planners.

Jim has extensive experience working with companies, associations, government agencies, the military, and not-for-profit organizations. He has spoken across the U.S. and in many foreign nations.  He has appeared in national and international media, including cable and network television, and publications ranging from Business Week to USA Today to the Wall Street Journal.

His leadership experience includes service as California's first Secretary for Environmental Protection. Previously he served as chief law enforcement officer of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, as well as counsel to the U.S. Senate Environment & Public Works Committee.

Strock was educated at Harvard College (Phi Beta Kappa) and Harvard Law School. He served to captain, U. S. Army Reserve Judge Advocate General Corps. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and has served on various corporate and non-profit boards.
