Kristine Lilly

Kristine Lilly joined the National Team at the age of 16, and has been a major contributor and leader since, achieving 100 international appearances before any other player in history. Hailed the best midfielder in the world, Lilly played every minute of Team USA's five matches at the 1996 Olympics. She is currently the U.S. Women's National Team all-time appearance leader and third all-time leading scorer. Despite an arduous schedule that includes personal appearances, training and competitions, and commitments to corporate sponsors the likes of Adidas and Coca-Cola, Lilly returns to her hometown every summer to run the Lilly Soccer Academy.
