Leading Authorities, Inc. and JP Moery Launch Association Growth Company
Moery/LAI will conduct direct sales and consulting for membership, sponsorship and special fundraising projects.
Washington, DC, April 5, 2010—Leading Authorities Inc., and association industry executive JP Moery are joining forces to establish, Moery/LAI, a new company to help associations grow revenue streams.
Moery/LAI will conduct membership development campaigns, meeting sponsorship development, affinity program outreach and other special projects through direct sales on the association’s behalf. Consulting, strategic development and coaching services will also be offered to organizations seeking new revenue growth strategies.
Leading Authorities has been serving the association community for 20 years. LAI helps associations design meetings that grow attendance, drive revenue and membership and achieve the goals of the association. The creation of Morey/LAI is a natural complement, offering important, best-of-class services to this critical market.

JP Moery became well known in the association industry as U.S. Chamber of Commerce Senior Vice President of Federation Relations. During his tenure the Chamber launched the federation membership program which enlisted 250,000 new members and revitalized the Association Committee of 100, the organization's prestigious association CEO network. He also had responsibility for the Chamber's affinity programs, Institutes for Organization Management and Center for Workforce Preparation. He also worked for leading associations including the American Trucking Associations, Inc. and the Specialized Carriers and Rigging Association.
Most recently as Executive Vice President, Association Relations of Smartbrief, Inc., Moery helped the digital media company grow to more than 100 association and corporate partners. Moery/LAI will continue to serve SmartBrief in business development.
