Job Description
Position reports directly to the Controller and provide a wide variety of General Accounting duties such as daily cash receipts posting, accounts receivable, and daily reconciliation of bank accounts.  Candidate also supports the Controller during month-end close, preparation of financial statements and budgets, special projects and human resource administration.  

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years as Accounting (A/R, A/P or G/L Accountant).
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Experience in Dynamic Great Plains (v10) a plus. 
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
- Superb organizational skills, ability to work under tight deadlines, and ability to adapt to change.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, and possess utmost discretion, judgment and professionalism.

Compensation: 
Annual salary of $45K (may increase depending on experience) plus 401(K) plan, vacation, holidays, and health/life/dental/disability/vision insurance.

Qualifications: Junior or Senior college student working towards degree in Marketing, Communications, or English preferred. Must possess strong organizational, client service, and interpersonal abilities, as well as the ability to work well independently. High standards of oral and written communications are a must. Project management, attention to detail, and strong computer skills essential.    

 

Job Duties:

  • Work closely with Marketing Coordinator and the Creative Director on assigned projects.
  • Data entry, filing, and general administrative support.
  • Maintain and update speaker information in Leading Authorities' computer database and public Web site.
  • Assist in the organization, planning, and execution of marketing related events.
  • Execute direct mail projects utilizing Microsoft Excel.  

Tuesday/Thursday Availability Preferred

 

Salary: $8.00/hr
