Robert Hargrove

Robert Hargrove is a widely sought-after consultant and masterful coach. He has trained over 30,000 people in the areas of executive coaching, leadership, stewardship, collaboration and getting results. The dedication behind this work is change and that each person experiences a personal breakthrough that allows his or her highest aspirations and goals to be realized. Robert is widely regarded for having a profound impact on many people in a very short period of time.

Mr. Hargrove has worked with dozens of senior executives from Fortune 100 companies. As a partner in conversation and brainstorming he has helped them transform those aspects of themselves that represent barriers to reaching both their personal and shared goals. His approach is not based on fixing people in a psychological way, or focusing on what’s wrong with individuals, but changing the context out of which the individuals make decisions.

Robert Hargrove is the president and CEO of Hargrove and Partners and founder of the Learning Center for Masterful Coaching. He was co-founder of Innovation Associates along with Charles Keifer, Robert Fritz (author of Creating) and Peter Senge (author of The Fifth Discipline), and former director of the Harvard University Leadership Project.

Mr. Hargrove is author of Master Coaching, Extraordinary Results by Impacting People and the Way They Think and Work Together (Pfeiffer, October 1995); Making Life Work (Dell, 1976). His most recent book is Mastering the Art of Creative Collaboration (McGraw-Hill, January, 1998.) He holds a Masters degree in History from Tufts University and a Bachelors degree in Business from Boston University.
