Kim Adomanis-Chomicz
Vice President of Production
Kim Adomanis-Chomicz is Leading Authorities’ vice president of production. She has more than 20 years experience in events management and production for some of the country’s leading entertainment firms, including the Walt Disney Company, where she played a key role in the entertainment productions and special events group divisions. Kim manages and directs the talented crew at Leading Authorities production house, and she excels at event strategy, planning, and logistics.
Her extensive experience includes large-scale production projects for government agencies, non-profit organizations, and corporations. She ensures that video projects are consistent with clients’ overall themes and goals, and she oversees personnel.

Helena Lehman, CMP
Senior Vice President, Client Services
Helena Lehman is Leading Authorities’ senior vice president and one of the firm’s most senior staff members, having worked on hundreds of events over the course of more than a decade. In her role as head of client services, she is committed to understanding the business of meetings. For video projects, she interfaces with clients, develops video ideas that fit within the scope of the client’s event and their budget, assists with the overall creative vision, formulates proposals, and ensures that the final product arrives on schedule and meets the client’s organizational goals.
Previously, Helena worked in Washington, DC, for five years as a producer for live television and political campaigns. There, she saw firsthand the kind of impact video makes on an audience. She is invaluable to clients in understanding how video fits strategically into a meeting or event.

Kate Burns
Vice President, Marketing and Creative Services
Kate Burns is the vice president of marketing and creative services at Leading Authorities. With a 10-year background in media and marketing, she works with clients to conceptualize their videos, directs filming shoots, and acts as a producer both on-site and in the editing room. She also leads a team of writers, designers, and marketing professionals. She is responsible for the creative direction of key projects, including video, for both internal and external clients.
Prior to Leading Authorities, she was the senior director of marketing and communications at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. There, she directed the outreach to the organization’s trade association and chamber of commerce members, the Association Committee of 100.

Elizabeth Macy
Production Manager
Elizabeth Macy, Leading Authorities’ production manager, wears many hats. For seven years, she has ensured the smooth production of events and video projects for a variety of clients and speakers. She maintains production schedules, manages workflow, tracks deliverables, and aids in the collection of assets for Leading Authorities studios, and her passion is working with clients to execute events from concept to completion.
She coordinates events, acting as a liaison between clients and speakers on all video projects in order to facilitate logistics and determine design and content needs. She then works with the creative department to communicate those needs and ensure that the final product is on point.

James Favata
Senior Editor and Producer
James Favata, the senior editor and producer at Leading Authorities, is experienced in all aspects of video from pre- to post-production. His work includes conceptualizing, designing, shooting, editing, and animating video and Keynote projects for corporate and association clients. The originator of several Telly Award-winning videos projects, James is in high-demand for his fresh and original ideas.
Coming from a fine arts background at the Maryland Institute College of Art, he is uniquely qualified to design and deploy the client’s every aesthetic decision. His knowledge of current and developing standards in the audiovisual industry aids in evaluating product quality to achieve an original and innovative final product.

James Loizou
Editor and Producer
James Loizou is an editor and producer for Leading Authorities and an integral part of the seasoned production department. He regularly “wows” clients with his Keynote animation and his ability to turn basic video into a polished, impressive product. With a background in editing, composite animation, and production, he creates promotional and creative videos for a wide variety of clients and purposes, and he brings his visual design and photography skills to produce videos with a unique look and feel.
In 2010, James was part of the Virginia Tech finalist team for the Disney ImagiNations design competition. He created the conceptual renderings, posters, and presentation media, in addition to the video work. His team took third place in the international competition. A graduate of James Madison University, James studied digital video and cinema with a minor in theatre arts and design and architecture with Umbau School of Architecture after graduation.

Whitney Sayce
Writer
Whitney Sayce is the lead writer for Leading Authorities’ and its video studios, working with clients to conceptualize their projects and develop scripts. She ensures that the final communication aligns with their overall business objectives, and she creates a clear and sophisticated message that resonates with the client’s audience. Whitney also works with clients through the editing and script approval process. Her writing background includes proposals, marketing collateral, event scripts, speaker introductions, video, and more.
Before joining Leading Authorities, Whitney was the marketing manager for a consulting company where she focused on developing strong web, video, and print content for the firm’s analytics department. She graduated from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, and she utilizes her business and marketing experience to effectively position and tailor the copy she writes.
