Speakers At SXSW 2018

This week, inspiring speakers and thought-leaders from around the country are gathering at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Conference in Austin, Texas. We’re thrilled to represent several incredible speakers who will be presenting at this year’s conference. Take a look:

CNN Correspondent, Jake Tapper, will take the stage with US Senator Bernie Sanders. Tapper will ask Senator Sanders to discuss the news of the day, politics, and his thoughts on the future of our nation. It is Senator Sanders’ first-ever appearance at SXSW. Jake Tapper’s SXSW session will take place at 12:30pm on March 9^{th, 2018.}

Daymond John, Star of ABC's Shark Tank, will be returning to the SXSW stage for a talk called, “Swim with a Shark: Rise & Grind to Maximize Your Day.” During his session, which is a part of the start-up and tech sector of the conference, he’ll share tips on making the most of your time to ensure success. Aside from this session, John will also hold a book signing at the SXSW book store for his most recent work, Rise and Grind. Daymond John’s SXSW presentation will take place at 5:00pm on March 10^{th, 2018.}

Brian Solis—principal analyst and futurist at Altimeter—will take the stage. During his featured SXSW session, Solis will share insights on how the technology that was created to help society has begun to harm society. He will also map out what society can do to end the harm technology has been causing. Brian's session will take place on March 11th, 2018 at 3:30pm.

Peter Diamandis, CEO of the X PRIZE Foundation, will share insights on the impact of technology during his SXSW session, which will take place at 5:00pm on March 12^{th, 2018}. Diamandis will speak about the X Prize competition that is focused on accelerating technologies; the competition is meant to accelerate technology that will enable physical interaction with other people and environments anywhere in the world.
