Great Review For Charles Schwab CEO David Pottruck

I recently saw repeat best-selling author and former CEO of Charles Schwab David Pottruck give a talk to about 125 CEO's, and they LOVED him. The topic was leading transformational change, told through his personal journey. He was self-deprecating, hilarious, and very insightful. The talk was full of practical takeaways. Most folks were taking notes.

He talked about leadership, culture, strategy, and the case for continuous change. He gave advice on how you are viewed as a leader, how to make changes to a successful team to prepare it for success in the future, the difference between motivation and inspiration, and why not to put off what you know you need to do.

Pottruck is a very talented speaker who uses the whole stage, does not waste a word, and is high-energy and very charismatic. He got multiple rounds of applause and on top of that had done his homework and knew the audience. He made all the lessons about their organization, and in the process celebrated their industry and made them all feel great. He is a phenomenal speaker, hands down.
