Popular Wharton professor Jonah Berger just received a big honor from the American Marketing Association Foundation (AMAF). His New York Times and Wall Street Journal best-selling book Contagious: Why Things Catch On was awarded the Berry-AMA Book Prize for “2014’s Best Book in Marketing.”

AMAF recognizes books whose innovative ideas have had significant impact on marketing and related fields, and Berger has been making waves in the marketing industry, as well as on the lecture circuit. He’s is an expert on how products, ideas, and behaviors become popular – including why some products get more word of mouth than others and certain online content go viral.
