Leading Authorities exclusive speaker and former Acting and Deputy Director of the FBI, Andrew McCabe, has just released his new book called The Threat: How the FBI Protects America in the Age of Terror and Trump

McCabe spent 22 years at the FBI in various, increasingly prominent roles. He began his FBI career as an agent in the New York Field Office and has previous experience as an investigator and SWAT team member, which no doubt helped as he worked such high-profile cases as the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing, the Clinton email investigation, and the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election. He assumed the role of Acting Director of the FBI in May 2017.

The highly-anticipated book offers a dramatic and candid account of his career and time in Washington, DC, including a look at time spent fighting cybercrime, battling organized crime rings out of the New York Field Office of the FBI, conducting counterterror intelligence gathering, and more.

A sharp and witty storyteller who peppers speeches with relevant jokes and incredible anecdotes from his time at the FBI, McCabe is also available to discuss American national security and cyber security, challenges facing our democracy amid the current political climate, as well as leadership lessons learned. Few people have more relevant or more recent experience securing our nation at the highest levels of the US government.
