New LAI Exclusive: Washington Post's Jonathan Capehart
We are very excited to share that we’re now exclusively representing Washington Post editorial board member and opinion writer Jonathan Capehart for lectures. Jonathan’s new to the speaking circuit, but you have probably also seen him on MSNBC, where he’s a contributor, or you might have heard his popular “Cape Up” podcast on iTunes—where he’s interviewed everyone from Sir Richard Branson to Hillary Clinton.
Jonathan came by our office last week to talk to our team about the “pivot point” America finds itself in now and a movement he sees building called the “Coalition of the Republic”—a group of Americans more concerned with country than party who want to work together and overcome dysfunction in Washington.
As a member of The Washington Post editorial board, Jonathan is engaged in a daily conversation over the issues and perspectives that are driving the national conversation. Our team loved his charismatic and personable delivery as he told funny and insightful stories drawn from his front row perspective of the Bush, Obama, and Trump eras.
He also dedicated some time to talking about his background and why he still “believes in America” despite the economic, demographic, and political issues proving divisive now.
Let us know if you’d like to hear more about Jonathan. He’s a unique and interesting speaker, and we’d be happy to tell you more about his talk. Give us a call at 1-8000-SPEAKER.
