TED Speakers For Your 2018 Event

TED speakers for your 2018 events

TED 2018 officially kicked off this week in Vancouver.

We are proud to represent many repeat TED speakers with extraordinary speeches on achieving what may seem impossible, whether it’s groundbreaking leadership, physical endurance, technological breakthroughs, or savvy business know-how:

  1. Four-star General Stanley McChrystal is the former commander of U.S. and international forces in Afghanistan. Wired magazine said that “to hear McChrystal talk about leadership is like hearing Steve Jobs talk about innovation.”
  2. Acclaimed broadcast news anchor, journalist, and one of TIME magazine’s “100 Most Influential People in the World” for 2017, Gretchen Carlson, gave a TED Talk this past fall about the three things we can do to create safer places to work. “We will no longer be underestimated, intimidated, or set back,” Carlson said of the #MeToo movement in this motivational and inspiring talk on the future of the modern workplace.
  3. Salim Ismail is the former VP of Yahoo! and best-selling author who now leads Singularity University. He focuses on “educating, inspiring, and empowering a new generation of leaders to apply exponential technologies to address humanity’s grand challenges.”
  4. 12 people have been on the moon and 5,000 have climbed Everest, but polar explorer, Ben Saunders, is the only person ever successfully complete the 1,800-mile trek unsupported from the edge of Antarctica to the South Pole and back. His talks focus on his belief that “No one else is an authority on your potential.”
  5. Mitch Joel has been called upon by Google to explain digital marketing to Silicon Valley’s top executives. He is an expert at coaching brands on how to innovate and meet the needs of today’s wired consumer—with digital experiences.
  6. Peter Diamandis, chairman and CEO of the X PRIZE Foundation, co-founder of Singularity University and author of best-selling Abundance, is a dynamic speaker who shows his audience how to drive and incentivize breakthrough thinking in order to achieve clear, measurable results.
  7. Best-selling author, sought-after entrepreneur, and 3D printing expert, Rick Smith, counsels organizations on seamlessly adopting new technologies, including the booming, $100-billion 3D printing market, and successfully managing historic technological disruption.
  8. Hugh Herr heads the Biomechatronics research group at the MIT Media Lab. Herr, who is himself a double amputee, works to create bio-hybrid smart prostheses that improve the quality of life for thousands of people across America. He will discuss his team’s pioneering research at this year’s TED conference.
