What Makes a Great Time Management or Productivity Speaker?
As we continue to work virtually through the remainder of 2020, our productivity may be limited. Managing our time between work deadlines, dealing with kids as our at-home coworkers, and finding it harder to differentiate between our work and personal lives, can all cause strains on our time management.
WHAT MAKES A GREAT PRODUCTIVITY OR TIME MANAGEMENT SPEAKER?
So what exactly makes a great productivity speaker or time management speaker? How does one become qualified to share their learnings on great productivity and effectively managing time? Our speakers share some insight on what they have learned throughout the years of their careers that has helped them become successful in being more productive.
As people that motivate you to achieve not only your long-time life goals, but also your day-to-day tasks, these are some of the top tips that people utilize that have helped them become a successful time management coach:
- Utilize daily to-do lists. These help you stay on track throughout the day and are satisfying to check off once you have accomplished everything you needed to get done throughout your busy workday.
- Prioritize one area of your home for your work from home station. Sitting down in the same spot every morning helps your brain hone in on the workday and focus better.
- Set a routine. Starting work and taking breaks at the same time everyday allows your brain and body to get used to a routine. This in turn allows you to be more productive as you accomplish more work during short bursts of time.
- Identify your biggest distractors and try to avoid them. If you find yourself working in the living room with the TV on in the background, but always looking up from your computer to see the latest news updates, maybe turning off the TV or finding a different area of your home to work from may be beneficial. Figure out what things distract you the most throughout the day and decide how to best eliminate these avoidable distractions.
