Kristin Beck: Lessons from My Life

We were joined on Wednesday, June 9 at 2:00pm ET for Lessons from My Life featuring civil rights activist and the first openly transgender U.S. Navy SEAL, Kristin Beck.

With social justice top of mind and as Pride Month takes center stage, she touched upon themes of acceptance, diversity and inclusion, courage, and leadership and explore the link between being a strong leader and an ally to those who have been disenfranchised.

Sharing her own incredible personal journey and stories from her 20-tear Navy career, Kristin encourages audiences to focus on the things they have in common with one another instead of their differences. She'll answer questions like: "What's the value in a diverse workforce?" and "How can I bridge the gap between people who seem totally dissimilar?" that help organizations work to build a more inclusive, welcoming, and high-performing culture.

Kristin is funny, smart, and she will inspire you to create a better world for yourself, your team, and future generations.
