John Volanthen

World-Recording Holding Cave Diver Who Played A Leading Role In The 2018 Tham Luang Thailand Cave Rescue

John Volanthen was the first rescue diver to locate and make contact with the missing youth soccer team in Thailand earlier this year. Called the “A Team” of diving rescues by the British Cave Rescue Council, he also extracted team members from the cave during the rescue mission. In a gripping presentation, John takes audiences on the journey of a lifetime into the dark and deep caves of Thailand and shares his belief that success in life is rarely due to “luck.” With heart-pounding anecdotes about the importance of perseverance, determination, and preparation, John inspires audiences to tackle the impossible and never lose hope—no matter how dire a situation may be.

Margaret Brennan

Moderator of CBS News’ Face the Nation & CBS News Senior Foreign Affairs Correspondent

Margaret Brennan has reported on politics, international affairs, and global markets for nearly two decades. Currently the moderator of CBS News’ Face the Nation and the network’s senior foreign affairs correspondent, she is one of the most visible faces in political news today and only the second-ever female host of the 63-year-old program. Brennan aims to cover issues in a bipartisan way that illustrates their larger impact on our daily lives. She also offers fascinating anecdotes from her weekly interviews with the biggest faces in politics today.

Michael Piwowar

Former Commissioner at the US Securities and Exchange Commission

Dr. Michael S. Piwowar served as a Commissioner at the US Securities and Exchange Commission from 2013 through July of this year. New to the lecture circuit, Dr. Piwowar served under the Bush, Obama, and Trump administrations and worked on both Dodd-Frank and the JOBS Act. In fast-paced presentations that can be highly-customized to touch on anything from regulatory rollbacks to the emergence of “robo-advisers,” he helps audiences think about questions like, “How likely is it that this regulation will be passed?” and “How is the SEC thinking about the issues concerning my industry now?”

Founder of Jo Malone London

Described as an ‘English scent maverick,’ Jo Malone is the creative and business force behind some of the world’s most-loved fragrances. Jo created her namesake fragrance brand from her kitchen after realizing a talent for creating scent products by hand and grew it to cult status around the world. In presentations, Jo shares her brand-building experiences, techniques for fostering creativity and innovation, and inspires audiences to cultivate the entrepreneurial spirit that lives within us all.
