Jonathon Porritt, Co-Founder of Forum for the Future, is an eminent writer, broadcaster and commentator on sustainable development. Established in 1996, Forum for the Future is now the UK’s leading sustainable development charity. The Forum has a growing presence in the United States, India, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia. In addition he is a Non-Executive Director of Willmott Dixon Holdings, a Trustee of Ashden, and a Director of Collectively (an online platform celebrating sustainable innovation). He was formerly Director of Friends of the Earth, co-chair of the Green Party and as Chairman of the UK Sustainable Development Commission until 2009, he spent nine years providing high-level advice to Government Ministers. Jonathon was installed as the Chancellor of Keele University in February 2012. He is also Visiting Professor at Loughborough University and UCL. Recent books are ‘Capitalism As If The World Matters’ (2007) and ‘The World We Made’ (2013) - which seeks to inspire people about the prospects of a sustainable world in 2050.

Nick Watt has worked in national journalism for nearly 30 years, reporting on UK and EU politics. In 2016, Nick became the Political Editor of Newsnight on BBC2. Before joining the BBC, Nick worked as the Guardian’s Chief Political Correspondent and as its European Editor based in Brussels. He started his career at the Times where he worked as a Political Correspondent and as Ireland Correspondent based in Belfast. Nick’s notable work at the BBC includes in-depth profiles of the chancellor, Philip Hammond, the Brexit secretary, David Davis, the EU’s chief Brexit negotiator, Michel Barnier, and the UK’s Brexit negotiator, Olly Robbins.

Bruce Daisley is a best selling author and technology leader from the UK. He spent 8 years as EMEA Vice President for Twitter having joined the company in 2012. Prior to this, Daisley ran YouTube UK at Google and he has also worked at Emap/Bauer and Capital Radio. Daisley frequently speaks about the importance of laughter in the workplace. He highlights the benefits of reducing the number of interruptions from emails, the importance of striking the right work-life balance, and the contribution which digital social media is making to our lives.
