Chris Griffiths is founder and CEO of OpenGenius, the company behind the ThinkBuzan brand, digital Mind Mapping software iMindMap, and visual task management app, DropTask. He is a sought-after international keynote speaker and listed on a number of Speakers Bureau websites. He is the world leading expert for the application of Mind Mapping and a bestselling author on creativity and innovative thinking skills.

With over 28 years’ experience in setting up and leading successful businesses, Chris is a successful entrepreneur, having started his first business when he was 16 and selling his first company at the age of 25. He has founded several start-ups and companies that have ranked in the ‘Deloitte Fast 50′ and ‘The Sunday Times Fast-track 100′.

Chris has trained individuals from organisations operating across the globe in a diverse range of industries, including Government, FTSE-100 and Fortune-500 companies, academic institutes, and major organisations. He is responsible for the creation of the ThinkBuzan Licensed Instructor Course in Mind Mapping, setting up a worldwide network of Instructors, including individuals from Sony, Intel, the Ministry of Defence, Hewlett-Packard, Hertz Global Holdings, McDonalds, NHS and the United Nations. Chris developed the official OpenGenius Licensed Instructor Course in Applied Innovation and Kick-Start Innovation away days to help people implement strategic solutions to minimise business risks and improve the decision making skills within organisations. Chris was invited to The Petra Nobel Conference with 30 Nobel Laureates by his majesty King Abdullah II, to facilitate brainstorming sessions.

Chris has also coached Senior Leadership Teams in the European Commission, Parliaments and Courts. He has motivated and challenged global workforces to change the way that they think through his engagements as an inspiring conference speaker for clients such as Turnitin and Global Pets Forum.

Chris has written numerous books about creativity and how to apply effective solutions to drive business growth. Chris’s books have been sold in over 15 countries and translated into 18 languages. GRASP The Solution was published in 2011 and reached number 1 bestseller on the Decision Making Chart on Amazon in the US, and number 2 bestselling book in the overall Business Chart in the UK. Chris also co-authored Mind Maps for Business that reached the top 5 of the Amazon Business Chart.

Chris is on a mission to grow innovation from grass roots with his charity, the Inspire Genius Foundation, by inspiring and teaching young adults of all ages that failure is acceptable in order to progress.
