    Mark Tungate is a British writer and branding specialist based in Paris. He is the author of six books about branding and marketing, including the bestselling Fashion Brands: Branding Style From Armani to Zara and Adland: A Global History of Advertising.

    Mark’s subjects have included the luxury and beauty industries, the backstage of the fashion world, the legends of advertising and the secrets of marketing to men. His articles have appeared in publications ranging from Campaign and Advertising Age to the Financial Times and The Times. He also has a weekly column in the French advertising journal Stratégies.

    Known for his relaxed and informal speaking style, Mark has lectured on fashion, luxury branding and the history of advertising at Parsons School of Design, the French Fashion Institute (Institut Français de la Mode), the London College of Fashion, Glasgow Caledonian University and at marketing conferences all over the world. He has made appearances on French and UK television.

    Alongside his writing he is the Editorial Director and Jury Coordinator of the Epica Awards, the only creative awards judged by journalists.

    He is married to a French fashion editor and is an enthusiastic new dad.
