description

In this video, Baylor University's women's head basketball coach, Kim Mulkey, sits down for a one-on-one interview with Robin Roberts on Good Morning America (GMAto talk about the Baylor University Lady Bear's National Championship win over Notre Dame.

Widely considered a trailblazer for women in the sports world, and a pioneer who helped revolutionize women's basketball throughout the last two decades, Kim was the first person in NCAA history to win a basketball National Championship as a player, assistant coach, and a head coach, and she is also only the third NCAA women’s basketball coach ever to win three National Championships. Reflecting on her record-breaking basketball career—first as an All American basketball player, then an Olympian, and now as the head coach at Baylor University—Kim shares the lessons she has learned from her unique background playing and working in the sport and her many hard-won triumphs, both on and off the court—which all culminated to help her become one of the best basketball coaches of all time.
