Discovery 15: The Future of AI

In this video, Neil Jacobstein of Singularity University speaks about the future of AI. AI has been applied to virtually every field of human endeavor - music, transportation, medicine, law, security, manufacturing, oceanography, microbiology, government, ecology, space, and even art. When you dig into what exactly is AI, it is statistical and deep machine learning, task and domain specific knowledge engineering, and biologically inspired computing architecture.  

Neil Jacobstein is the chairman of the Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Track at Singularity University, whose mission is “to educate, inspire and empower a new generation of leaders to apply exponential technologies”. He is a founding faculty member and past president of Singularity, which is now over ten years old. He is a mediaX distinguished visiting scholar at Stanford University, where his research focuses on augmented decision systems.
