The Power of Persistence, Creativity, and Respect

description

Former Army Ranger, Matthew “Griff” Griffin, turned a wild idea into a purpose-driven company getting lots of attention these days. After graduating from West Point, Griff served four deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan, where he planned and participated in over 100 special operations direct-action missions. Once he departed the military in 2006, Griff  started to work in the defense sector which eventually led him back to Afghanistan. After witnessing the positive effects of economic growth in conflict areas, Griff co-founded Combat Flip Flops with a fellow Ranger and began the mission to manufacture peace through trade. Each purchase provides a job and economic opportunity for an adult in a war-torn country and a day of school for a girl in Afghanistan.

A great storyteller and successful entrepreneur, watch Griff tell the Combat Flip Flop story and reveal the business and leadership lessons he's learned along the way.
