For example, a head waiter ay go up to the microphone on stage and sing a verse, and then go back into the crowd and act like everything is back to normal. Then, a second waiter may go up to the stage and attempt to outperform the head waiter. Out of nowhere, a third waiter joins the battle, completing the trio on stage.
