It is not further processed in a manner that is incompatible with those purposes; we hold only the information required to transact speaker enquires and bookings as well as associated accounting and logistical communications.
We are not using people’s data in ways they would find intrusive or which could cause them harm.
The data is collected under the legitimate interest of individuals who have booked a speaker through us, have requested a proposal of speakers from us or have responded to our marketing material about speakers in the three years leading up to the introduction of GDPR. Or through the personally requested and agreed consent of each individual.
The data will include an individual’s name, email address and telephone number as well as company address and VAT details. This is at a level adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed.
The data will be used in email marketing campaigns and the transmission of contracts and invoices in relation to the management of speaking engagements. The details will be kept up to date and every reasonable step will be taken to ensure any personal data that are inaccurate will be amended, having regard to the purposes for which they are processed, are erased or rectified without delay.
The information will be kept in a form that permits identification of data subjects and will not be kept for longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed. The data will be processed in a manner that ensures appropriate security, including protection against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage, using appropriate technical or organisational measures
