Mark started Leading Authorities in 1990 and led the company to become a leader in the speaking, video, and live production industries. Mark was also the publisher of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ceoupdate.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"CEO Update\">CEO Update<\/a>, the association sector\u2019s top resource for c-level executives focused on trends, best practices, and careers.<\/p>\n\n<p>More importantly, Mark was a loving husband to Carol, father to Kathleen, Brian, and Lauren, and grandfather to Kirsten and Preston. A lifelong traveler, skier, and friend to many, Mark became an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ateachablemoment.film\/meet-the-people\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"advocate for stroke awareness and prevention\">advocate for stroke awareness and prevention<\/a>\u00a0after suffering a stroke in 2015. In the years following, he raised money and supported many organizations in an effort to reduce the risk of stroke in the lives of others. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.giving.medstarhealth.org\/nrn-mark-french\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Center for Brain Plasticity and Recovery\">Center for Brain Plasticity and Recovery<\/a>, a joint enterprise of Georgetown University and MedStar National Rehabilitation Network.<\/p>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.giving.medstarhealth.org\/nrn-mark-french\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Donate here\"><strong>\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 DONATE HERE\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.leadingauthorities.com\/blog\/reflections-on-the-life-and-legacy-of-mark-french\" title=\"Click here\">Click here<\/a>\u00a0to read through our team&#8217;s reflections on the life and legacy of Mark French.
