\"MattLeading Authorities, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of a new President and Chief Executive Officer, Matthew Jones.\u00a0Jones previously served as Leading Authorities\u2019 Chief Operating Officer from 2010 \u2013 2019. Jones will assume leadership of the firm immediately. A 23-year veteran of the company, Jones joined LAI in 1996, when it was an emerging player in the speaking industry.<\/p>\n\n

Jones was elected by the board of directors to assume the role following\u00a0Mark French\u2019s passing<\/a>\u00a0in May of 2019. Over the course of his tenure, and with the help of an amazing team, Jones has helped grow LAI into one of the country\u2019s foremost speakers bureaus and stewarded the development of the video and live events business lines, as well as the as the growth of the trade publication,\u00a0CEO Update<\/em>. Jones has worked closely with the firm\u2019s impressive talent roster as well as key client accounts over his career, and will continue to foster relationships as CEO and grow new networks for LAI.<\/p>\n\n

As President and CEO, Jones will be responsible for growing all lines of LAI business, serving and supporting the needs of our clients, speakers, and employees, and help positioning the company for future success. Prior to his roles at Leading Authorities, Jones worked on political campaigns in advertising, media buying, and fund-raising capacities.<\/p>\n\n
