Sir Simon is a unique mix of diplomat, historian, and soldier (he is a three-star General) with 40 years’ experience working in some of the most tumultuous environments imaginable. He was most recently the Defence Senior Adviser Middle East for the UK Government, and the Prime Minister\u2019s Security Envoy to Iraq.<\/p>\n
