Ben Crenshaw is a two-time Masters champion, World Golf Hall of Famer, and one of the most respected figures in the history of golf. Celebrated for his extraordinary putting touch, sportsmanship, and deep appreciation for the traditions of the game, Crenshaw won 19 PGA TOUR titles during a distinguished professional career. His greatest victories came at Augusta National, where he captured the Masters in 1984 and again in 1995, securing his place among the game’s legendary champions.

Crenshaw’s emotional 1995 Masters victory came just days after the death of his longtime mentor and legendary instructor Harvey Penick. He later added another defining chapter to his career as captain of the 1999 U.S. Ryder Cup Team, inspiring one of the greatest comebacks in Ryder Cup history at The Country Club in Brookline. Before turning professional, Crenshaw dominated collegiate golf at the University of Texas, winning three consecutive NCAA individual championships from 1971 through 1973.

Beyond competition, Crenshaw has made a lasting impact on the game as a golf historian and acclaimed course architect. Since forming Coore & Crenshaw with Bill Coore in 1986, he has helped design some of the world’s most celebrated courses, including Sand Hills, Kapalua’s Plantation Course, Bandon Trails, and Cabot Cliffs. Drawing on a lifetime in golf, Crenshaw offers audiences memorable perspectives on leadership, teamwork, tradition, resilience, and performing under pressure, along with unforgettable stories from Augusta National and some of golf’s greatest moments.
