Sir Christopher Hoy, MBE is a British former track cyclist who represented Great Britain at the Olympics and World Championships and Scotland at the Commonwealth Games. He is a six times Olympic gold medal winning cyclist and considered to be one of Great Britain\u2019s most successful Olympic athletes.
\nIn 2024 Chris announced that he was living with stage 4 cancer. Maintaining the determination, resilience and positivity that shaped his sporting success, Chris inspired the nation once again with his memoir \u2018All That Matters\u2019 and subsequently announced his inaugural charity fundraising bike ride \u2013 Tour de 4. Born from Chris\u2019 vision to change perceptions of living with stage 4 cancer, the event aims to shine a spotlight on what a Stage 4 cancer diagnosis can look like and demonstrate that it is possible to live well and lead a happy life alongside this devastating diagnosis whilst raising vital funds for cancer charities across the UK.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
