Growing up in Atlanta, Inky developed a passion for football, fueled by a desire to help his family escaped the cycle of poverty. After attending the University of Tennessee to play as a defensive back, he was projected to reach his dream of becoming a first-round pick in the NFL Draft. On September 9th, 2006, Inky\u2019s life would change forever after a routine tackle resulted in the paralysis of his right arm. Told by doctors he would never use the arm again, Inky refused to let his new circumstances define his life. To even play college football, Inky had to overcome the adversity of an underprivileged adolescence. He survived poverty and violence to make his dream a reality. When his dream of playing football crumbled in an instant, Inky\u2019s true character and leadership qualities emerged. After receiving a master\u2019s degree in sports psychology from the University of Tennessee, Inky set out to spread his inspiration and motivational words.
