A former UK Secretary of State for International Development and Minister of State for Justice, Rory served in Parliament from 2010 to 2019. Before entering politics, he worked as a diplomat and advisor in Indonesia, the Balkans, Iraq, and Afghanistan, later founding the Turquoise Mountain Foundation in Afghanistan under the patronage of King Charles III.
