Leading Authorities, Inc. is seeking a marketing coordinator with a sharp mind for content and analytics. You will join a team of professional marketers who work together to drive leads and opportunities to help grow our membership and market presence.

Day-to-day duties will include executing the email communication plan, improving our data capabilities, and measuring results. As a proactive member of the team, this position will contribute to weekly communication and marketing meetings, sharing their own ideas for growth as well as helpful reports and analytics to aid in positive decision-making. The ideal candidate will become an expert on our data and email platforms and manage special projects.

The position is located in our Washington, DC office.


  • Be responsible for database and e-mail marketing activities
  • Set up and send e-mail communications utilizing complex audience segmentation
  • Execute database maintenance projects as directed by VP of Digital Marketing
  • Create reports and pull lists as needed
  • Manage lead distribution process
  • Execute marketing measurement projects
  • Develop materials and engage in activities to support sales staff
  • Develop sales resources such as lists as directed
  • Train new employees on our database

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-2 year’s related experience in marketing analytics and/or marketing automation

  • Good communication skills and problem-solving skills
  • Good writing/editing ability and capability for synthesizing information

We are currently working remotely but the expectation is the successful candidate will work full time from the DC office when we safely return to the office.

Leading Authorities, Inc. is seeking a creative graphics and video intern to support our marketing department. If you are interested in sharpening your creative multimedia production skills in a real-time marketing environment where you’ll quickly learn a wide range of marketing skills, as well as enhance your design experience by creating engaging content from graphics to videos, then this may be the perfect opportunity for you. This internship is for Spring 2021. We are looking for candidates who have experience creating dynamic graphic and video content and can work virtually during Eastern Standard Time hours (8:30am to 5:00pm). Art majors are encouraged to apply.


  • Work closely with Director, Marketing Events; Marketing Content Manager; and Senior Vice President of Marketing and Creative Services on assigned projects
  • Assist in the design of marketing materials
  • Create graphics for social media, event materials, and miscellaneous projects
  • Create and edit videos for internal and external use 


  • A Junior or Senior college student
  • Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Pro and Final Cut
  • Flexibility to work at least 3 days a week
  • Positive attitude and dependability
  • Solid attention to detail, creativity, and computer skills

Semester long internship will be virtual. Candidate must have a computer.
