MARKETING CONTENT PRODUCER, EXCLUSIVE TALENT

Leading Authorities, Inc, a top speakers' bureau, video agency, and event production company, is searching for a Marketing Content Producer of Exclusive Talent. This position will manage the library of promotional content for our roster of exclusive talent and create powerful videos to make a measurable impact on our sales. In addition, this position will report directly to the Vice President of Marketing and serves as an integral member of the marketing team, contributing promotional ideas, strategy, and analytics that support the overall pipeline of lead generation. 

Responsibilities 

60% Marketing content development & Video editing/production 

  • Oversee several video projects simultaneously in a fast-paced production environment, prioritizing projects with dated materials 
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify, conceptualize, and execute fresh and compelling stories through video production, includes video briefings, kick-off meetings and throughout the project life-cycle 
  • Manage scripting and edit together highlight videos, teasers, and full-length videos that showcase speaking talent  
  • Work directly with speaker talent, conducting interviews and prompting soundbites for new projects  
  • Source video content for exclusive talent and/or provide direction to other staff to support video content sourcing and timestamping for video creation  

30% Support sales process 

  • Manage company database of all speaker video content, collecting and organizing various assets, and keeping speaker videos relevant and up-to-date 
  • Tracking and reporting audience engagement and using that intel to generate strategies around speaker positioning and video placement 
  • Attend in-office speaker visits  

5% Cross-departmental coordination 

  • Work regularly with the LAI Video team and Executive Management 
  • Provide direction to LAI Video editors and animators throughout post-production, ensuring that drafted deliverables meet internal goals and expectations and uphold quality standards  

5% Other responsibilities  

  • Manage production schedules, budgets, vendors, and all logistics for projects 
  • Maintain project management software to benchmark department utilization and success 
  • Produce local and on-location shoots as necessary, organizing crew, directing talent and conducting interviews 
  • Creative troubleshooting of problems as they arise 
  • Travel as needed 
  • Other LAI video projects as assigned 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Communications or Media and Video Production  
  • At least 3-5 years’ work experience as a video editor and producer 
  • Exceptional customer service, organizational and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects while adhering to tight deadlines  
  • A great attitude and work ethic

MARKETING CONTENT MANAGER

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the Marketing Content Manager will be responsible for creating promotional copy around company products and services including our roster of talented keynote speakers. In addition to monitoring industry trends, the writer will script speaker videos, manage copy for email campaigns, SEO, and blogs, as well as collaborate with the sales team for content ideas and speaker positioning.

In this role, the Marketing Content Manager will craft compelling and engaging content that generates leads for the sales team by effectively packaging the talent we represent, and cross promoting our video and live event services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Write, edit, and proof speaker materials, video scripts, blog posts, and internal communications.
  • Become a subject matter expert on our speaking talent, learn how we partner with our customers, understand customer needs, and develop materials to showcase our expertise and services.
  • Maintain a consistent and accurate voice that reflects the company’s core values.
  • Keep consistent copy standards and style.
  • Work closely with sales teams, manage ongoing projects, develop and/or review content for marketing initiatives and provide recommendations for enhancing current and new materials.
  • Work within the marketing team to identify audiences and segments appropriate for messaging, maintain a working knowledge of content creation best practices, and report performance metrics in meetings.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Advertising, Marketing or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years’ experience developing content for a variety of channels in a marketing and/or communications role.
  • Prior experience writing for industries like politics, communications, events, corporate entertainment, or business consulting.
  • Experience with SEO/SEM and social media platforms.
  • Good project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and shift priorities.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and lead projects.
  • Works well in a team environment and comfortable leading meetings.

This is an entry level, Speaker Agent support position that is a steppingstone to a position in sales, marketing, or events.

Leading Authorities, Inc. is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Accounting Intern to join our staff. In this role, you will gain experience and learn essential industry skills by assisting our team with accounts payable and receivable, and other projects for clients. You will help ensure our records are accurate and timely. The Accounting Intern will perform administrative duties, such as data entry and electronic filing, among other duties. This role is open to students currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, although we may consider recent graduates.
