MARKETING COORDINATOR

Our collaborative marketing team is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support day-to-day marketing operations, website, social media, and event marketing efforts. You’ll write engaging and inspiring content to raise visibility about top speakers and improve our data collection and targeting capabilities to increase lead generation. You’ll support marketing activities for our event production business line.
The ideal candidate will support and manage projects that help the company grow. Day-to-day duties will include leading our social media content strategy, supporting all marketing needs for our event production business, content creation for emails, updating the website, customer audience segmentation insights, idea sharing, performance metrics measuring and reporting during weekly marketing meetings.

Essential duties & responsibilities:
- Project manage weekly LAI newsletter, sourcing content and distributing
- Lead social media marketing activities
- Support website updating and content creation
- Collaborate on audience segmentation and communication journeys
- Create reports and pull lists as needed
- Support lead distribution
- Competitive analysis and research
- Execute marketing measurement projects
- Develop marketing materials and resources
- Execute other projects as directed by the VP of Marketing
Desired skills & experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-2 year’s related experience in marketing or communications
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Good content creation and writing/editing skills
- Ability to quickly learn and become proficient with new technologies
- Simultaneously manage multiple projects
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent Excel skills including working in pivot tables and analyzing data

SALES COORDINATOR

In this role, you will support our sales staff by conducting research into new talent and clients, entering new contacts and opportunities into the database, working on contracts, and helping our team with other tasks as assigned. You will also assist our marketing team with digital marketing, database management, and event support.
This is an entry level, Speaker Agent support position that is a steppingstone to a position in sales, marketing, or events.
Minimum Requirements:

CONTENT MARKETING INTERN
Leading Authorities, Inc. is seeking a content marketing intern to support our marketing department. If you are interested in sharpening your content writing and production skills in a real-time, fast-paced environment where you’ll quickly learn a wide range of skills, as well as enhance your content marketing strategy and execution experience for web, social media, and print, then this may be the perfect opportunity for you. We are looking for candidates who have experience creating dynamic written content and can work during Eastern Standard Time hours (8:30am to 5:00pm). Key Responsibilities
- Work primarily with our Marketing Content Manager (and with the Web Marketing Manager, Manager of Data & Digital Marketing, and VP of Marketing on other assigned projects)
- Write, edit, and proof content for marketing content for web, blogs, search engine optimization, social media, print, and events
- Research the latest LAI exclusive speaker news and identify opportunities for leveraging on web, social media, and other marketing channels
- Scan social media for opportunities to promote or engage LAI exclusive speakers

ACCOUNTING INTERN
Leading Authorities, Inc. is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Accounting Intern to join our staff. In this role, you will gain experience and learn essential industry skills by assisting our team with accounts payable and receivable, and other projects for clients. You will help ensure our records are accurate and timely. The Accounting Intern will perform administrative duties, such as data entry and electronic filing, among other duties. This role is open to students currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, although we may consider recent graduates.
