Marketing Coordinator

About this Position

Our team is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to support day-to-day marketing efforts across our businesses: LAI Speakers, LAI Video, LAI Live, and Statler Nagle.

This role is an integral part of the team, supporting marketing operations, creating content, and executing campaigns. If you’re looking to build a well-rounded marketing skill set, this role offers hands-on experience across design, email marketing, social media, analytics, events, and emerging technologies while working alongside an experienced team.

Candidates must be able to commute to our Washington, DC office at least three days per week.

WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE DIFFERENT

You’ll support how LAI brings its four business lines to market:

LAI Speakers: Connecting clients with the largest exclusive speaker roster in the world.

LAI Video: Video storytelling and campaign production.

LAI Live: Full-service live event design and management.

Statler Nagle: Strategic campaigns that drive public engagement and policy change.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create graphic design assets for social media, email, and company websites
  • Write and edit marketing content for email, websites, social media, and other marketing materials
  • Support execution of the social media strategy, including content scheduling and community engagement
  • Support website updates and content creation
  • Support lead distribution and other marketing operations
  • Conduct competitive research and analysis
  • Pull and organize marketing analytics reports
  • Support the Events Experience Manager with planning and execution of internal and external events, as needed
  • Develop marketing materials and resources as needed
  • Execute other marketing projects as directed by the COO and VP of Marketing

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Marketing is constantly evolving, and so are we. The ideal candidate is collaborative, adaptable, and genuinely interested in learning new technologies and finding better ways to support our marketing efforts.

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1–2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Strong writing, editing, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and YouTube
  • Experience creating marketing content, including graphic design and basic video editing
  • Experience with Canva is required. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
  • Proficiency with Excel, data analysis, and reporting is preferred.
  • Experience using generative AI tools to support content creation and marketing workflows is preferred
