LAI in the Community

Giving Back is Part of Who We Are

Throughout the year, our team rolls up its sleeves to support organizations making a real difference in the DC community and beyond. We love making a meaningful impact, volunteering our time, offering in-kind video services and  to support their work in DC and beyond.

SOME (So Others May Eat)

We’re proud long-time supporters of SOME, an interfaith nonprofit serving individuals experiencing homelessness in Washington, DC. Our team has donated production services, speakers, and entertainment—and even staffed the community kitchen, helping serve more than 1,000 hot breakfasts in a single morning.

Bright Beginnings

Every holiday season, our staff rallies around Bright Beginnings, a child development center for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers experiencing homelessness. Led by our director of events, Lucinda DeCastro, our team donates time, funds, and essential supplies—from toys and clothing to full holiday meals for more than 100 children each year.

Boy Scouts

Scouting America

LAI has a long history of supporting Scouting America at both the national and local levels. From providing compelling speakers to volunteering our video team for their events and marketing projects, we’re committed to helping inspire the next generation of scouts. We’re proud to amplify their message and strengthen their reach.
