The renowned astronaut and pilot, Tim Peake, participated in our Leading Authorities speaker showcase breakfast earlier this week in the Battlebridge Room at Kings Place in London. In front of our esteemed clients, Peake shared his unbelievable life story.

He provided a shortened version of his speech in which he discussed important factors such as motivation, fear, risk-taking, and team-cooperation that have been prevalent throughout his professional career as a special operations pilot and draws unique insights into the impact these have had on his journey to becoming the first British astronaut to visit the International Space Station.

In 2016, Tim Peake completed Principia, a six-month research expedition, during which he took the opportunity to engage in valuable ‘missions’ with people on Earth. From educating millions of children through his Cosmic Classroom, to running the London Marathon in space, Peake was able to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming an astronaut and making it an out-of-this-world experience.
