Rusty’s recent speaking events include: Texas Tactical Police Officers Association TT POA and he has been invited back to speak in April 2024. In December of 2023, Rusty will speak at the California Association of Tactical Officers CATO SWAT team convention.

Note, Rusty is available for advertising and PR campaigns, corporate events, and office openings around the world.

Over the years, Rusty has been featured throughout mainstream media and news in the UK, and on television shows such as Nigel Farage, Piers Morgan’s Good Morning Britain, and many more. Rusty is the author of two books. Go! Go! Go! The story of the Iranian Embassy Siege has been turned into a Netflix filming called 6 Days where Jamie Bell, famous British actor/producer, plays Rusty Firmin by name in the film. His second book is called The Regiment: 15 years in the SAS. Both books are non-fiction.

Rusty can provide security training for all levels. Currently, security training is a necessity, not a luxury. Rusty can provide tips and tricks based on his proven track record of success throughout his career in defense.

Operational consulting is another lesson that Rusty offers. This is a unique opportunity to learn from someone who has survived and worked in over 120 countries during his time in the military. Many of these places were considered hostile environments.

Consider having Rusty speak as your after-dinner keynote speaker. Commerce and battle are both about achieving goals. Oftentimes, resources can be scarce in an unpredictable environment. Rusty draws parallels between the battlefield and the corporate world. He brings convincing evidence from the SAS of winning formulas in demanding circumstances.

Rusty’s presentation is unique because he has the only original PowerPoint presentation of the Iranian Embassy siege which he delivers with passion and conviction. This presentation highlights how to work under an immense amount of pressure, life threatening scenarios, and the steps required to achieve the mission. You do not want to miss this behind-the-scenes presentation.

WHO DARES WINS. What it’s like to have to take risks and put your life on the line for others.

His presentation was so exhilarating and unique that we were all just glued to our seats of the true account from the beginning to the end of the siege. Our audience was mixed from those of the age that recalled the ITN news of the event when the SAS stormed the embassy, to the young members that had no real knowledge until the evening. Rusty’s delivery was just perfect to everyone present and the feedback was excellent.

Ascot Round Table

His presentations are all the more enthralling as they include unrivalled details, the thoughts and feelings of what it is like to storm an “enemy” stronghold and is, as authentic as it comes. His style of presentation is delivered in a manner as compelling as any work of fiction but leaves the audience in no doubt that this is a man who has walked the walk. To put it simply Rusty tells it as it was.

West Yorkshire Police

For an hour the audience were absorbed and the exciting presentation came to a close. Questions flowed from the fascinated audience; Rusty had probably heard them all before but answered them sincerely and without conceit. A proud man with an electrifying story to tell, because he was there.

Thank you again for agreeing to come out and present your debrief on the Iranian Embassy Hostage Rescue at Princess Gate in 1980 again at the TTPOA Conference in 2024. The critiques were excellent, and many students asked that we offer it again. The debrief covered many critical aspects of the operation to include planning, preparation, logistics, negotiations, and administrative challenges. This was one the most iconic hostage rescue missions in history. The lessons learned from that operation are still used today. We are fortunate to have you share your experiences with our association. I highly recommend this debrief to anyone in the tactical community.
