In this tech-heavy world, Shola’s work helps humans deepen their levels of humanity and connection.

She works with global organisations using the power of empathy, effective communication and bold action. She calls this combination EMOTIONAL AUDACITY™ and the tools she shares facilitate the deepening of resilience, emotional intelligence and readiness for change.

Shola’s keynotes are frequently described as engagingly practical, easily implementable and inspiring. She shares moving stories, accessible case studies and actionable insights gained from working with international corporations across a wide range of industries, and sessions may be modified for leaders or for broader audiences.

Shola’s clients include American Express, Deloitte, Google, IBM, Nestle, Meta, Target, The United Nations, Kaiser Permanente, GSK, Henkel, Reckitt, HSBC, LVMH, Capital One and Oracle. She is the author of two books and has written for a variety of industry publications.

Shola’s experiences working for global corporations have given her an understanding of some of the many challenges faced by companies today as they seek to create environments of empathy and high performance, supporting their ever-more demanding, often remote, teams in a world of constant disruption.

Early in Shola’s career, after studying at Cambridge University, she worked in consulting and account management in New York and London with clients such as Goldman Sachs and British Airways. She has also conducted neuroscience research at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

What differentiates Shola as a speaker is that she has also spent time performing across the globe and captivating audiences as a professional entertainer. She therefore understands what it takes to keep her keynote attendees engaged and participating throughout the session, and she provides multiple opportunities for valuable self-reflection and outstanding levels of interaction.

Her cornerstone keynote, ‘Emotional Audacity™’ explores practical ways to build trust, connection, and influence through emotionally intelligent communication and courageous leadership.

Shola’s most booked keynote is ‘Elevating Empathy’. In today’s challenging workplaces, it’s crucial to meet people where they are, demonstrating curiosity and understanding. An empathic approach is also valuable when it comes to helping reduce resistance to change, such as restructuring, entering new markets or embarking upon new initiatives.

Shola also works with global teams that need to reach across differences, creating an atmosphere of collaboration, belonging and high performance. Her session ‘Create a People-First, Speak Up Culture’ has been booked by a variety of international organisations, whether for leadership teams or wider groups.

For organisations looking to improve the quality and quantity of feedback given, Shola’s keynote ‘Create a Positive Feedback Culture with Daring, Caring Communication’ is an ongoing, year-round favourite.

Finally, her keynote ‘The Art of the Ask’, on the power of networking and aspirational asking, is very popular for women’s events and among organisations seeking to empower their staff to be more unstoppable, whether in sales or in making bold internal career moves.

As an introvert herself, she loves to create experiences in which everyone feels deeply involved and empowered to participate fully. Her virtual keynotes often elicit hundreds of comments in the chat, with off-the-chart participation from attendees.

She’s also a popular speaker for International Women’s Day and has worked with many organisations delivering communication programs that help women and other groups speak up and cut through the noise, enabling them to go further, faster, in their careers.

How do we inspire people to say what others won’t and do what others fear- while staying open-hearted, respectful and deeply human? Shola Kaye introduces Emotional Audacity™ — the essential leadership mindset for today’s fast-paced, high-stakes world. As organisations move more swiftly and rely increasingly on data and systems, it’s the human elements — empathy, self-awareness, self-regulation, courageous communication, and motivation to act — that determine the success or failure of transformation efforts.

With insight, warmth, and a deeply practical approach, Shola shares frameworks for honest self-reflection and developing both resilience and dynamism through emotionally intelligent behaviour. Drawing on her corporate background, current research, and her work with global brands, Shola offers audiences the tools to listen without defensiveness and to act with an expansive sense of purpose.

The audience will leave with:

  • The Caring & Daring Matrix™ and the Feel it, Frame it, Follow Through on it™ framework to support dynamic yet empathetic decision-making
  • Clear strategies to listen deeply, share openly and act decisively
  • Structured self-reflection opportunities to support ongoing growth and development
  • A downloadable PDF companion guide for applying the frameworks in everyday leadership and communication scenarios

Also available: Crank up the emotional impact with a version of this speech that incorporates musical elements.

What are the core behaviours and communication strategies that create a psychologically safe, high-performing workplace? In a culture where people feel seen, safe and heard, innovation thrives, belonging deepens, and collaboration strengthens.

Through powerful storytelling, live exercises, and practical tools, Shola unpacks the role of, deep inquiry, and psychological safety to create environments of cooperation and creativity. Participants learn to foster a workplace free of group think where individuals can make their best contributions and the business can thrive.

The audience will leave with:

  • Practical communication scripts and conversation starters to support transparency and authentic dialogue
  • Step-by-step frameworks to encourage open conversations across all levels of the organisation
  • Insights into how fear and lack of safety hinder innovation — and how to change that dynamic
  • Tools to embed positive reinforcement, resilience, and safety into team communication
  • Structured self-reflection prompts and a downloadable PDF guide to help sustain learning and progress

How can organisations embed empathy at every level — from the boardroom to the break room? As the need for respectful, supportive workplaces grows, empathy is no longer a ‘nice to have’ — it’s a critical leadership and communication skill that directly impacts retention, innovation, and employee wellbeing.

Through storytelling, accessible research, and hands-on reflection, Shola introduces a practical approach to empathy that avoids burnout, fosters connection, and works across virtual, hybrid and in-person teams. With a focus on curiosity, courage and being a catalyst, this session equips every audience member with the awareness and confidence to make empathy a daily practice.

The audience will leave with:

  • A simple, actionable three-step framework for demonstrating empathy in daily conversations
  • Strategies for showing virtual empathy in hybrid and remote environments
  • A variety of easy-to-use tools that support practical empathy
  • Data and case studies to support the business case for empathy in the workplace
  • Structured self-reflection activities and a downloadable PDF guide to build stronger listening skills and deeper human connection

How will you build a thriving feedback culture where communication uplifts and energises, rather than undermines and demotivates? When feedback is delivered with empathy, clarity and consistency, it drives performance, strengthens relationships and creates motivated, resilient teams. But when it’s avoided or mishandled, the damage to morale and collaboration can be lasting.

Through candid examples and interactive exercises, Shola explores the difference between feedback that inspires and feedback that alienates. She equips individuals at every level — not just managers — with the tools and confidence to offer feedback that fuels learning and growth.

The audience will leave with:

  • Tools for delivering ongoing, tailored feedback that motivates and empowers
  • Exercises to build resilience and openness when receiving constructive feedback
  • Insights into common harmful feedback styles — including The Drive-by, The Comparison, and The Wrecking Ball — and how to avoid them
  • A downloadable PDF guide and structured self-reflection prompts to support long-term skill development

What if the next step in your career was just one question away? In this impactful and engaging keynote, Shola Kaye explores the transformative power of asking. Whether you’re seeking new opportunities, support, or personal development, the ability to make well-timed, strategic requests can change the course of your career — and the culture of your workplace.

With powerful real-life stories, a clear communication framework, and practical tools, Shola helps individuals overcome the psychological barriers that hold them back from asking. Participants will learn how to shift their mindset from hesitation to empowerment, using questions to build connection, create visibility, and inspire action in themselves and others.

The audience will leave with:

  • A deeper understanding of how asking can catalyse career growth, leadership development, and self-inclusion
  • The 5Rs Framework to reduce fear of rejection and increase confidence in making asks
  • Scripts and conversation tools to support high-impact, career-related requests
  • Strategies for using questions to motivate others, build trust, and unlock performance
  • Structured self-reflection prompts and a downloadable PDF to practise and apply learnings beyond the session.

Shola is a big impact speaker and compelling story teller. Her contribution to a critical event was arresting, memorable and inspiring. Be warned: her energy and positivity are highly contagious.

Paul Keenan, President - Bauer Media Audio

A great company-wide virtual keynote on Empathy in the workplace. It was a fascinating subject, and I think it was the most engagement I have seen with a topic – clearly it gave people food for thought and resonated. Our HR team has already said that they would like to incorporate some of the tools you gave us into the updated manager training programme. Our Diversity & Inclusion sponsor on the board of directors even contacted me to say that he really enjoyed the talk and especially how engaging it was for the audience – which I consider a great success!

Natasha Gibbs, Diversity & Inclusion Council - S-RM Corporate Intelligence

Shola conducted a wonderful and engaging Webinar session on communication in Diverse Teams for UNFPA! Her method of using the chatbox on Zoom to make sure everyone was engaged was super helpful for those who were not comfortable speaking up with the large group of people she was presenting to. Shola was very well-spoken and kind and I would highly recommend her work to any organization looking to improve communication skills between colleagues and teams.

Helin Alcinkaya - United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA)

Shola has been running workshops for our organisation FOCUS for a few years and we love working with her. Shola’s energy and engagement skills are very strong. We have experienced her skills live and online and her engagement and results are exactly the same in both settings which is a true strength. Shola has a real warmth and human approach which makes all the difference to our professional audience. People do listen to her and benefit from her knowledge.

Gael Panhelleux, Executive Director - FOCUS Info UK

Shola is a fabulous speaker, she has excellent tips and techniques for public speaking… Shola is highly intelligent and approachable and was so well received by our Women In the Law audience at Grant Thornton. Shola is so unique in that she has an outstanding education, professional experience in the corporate world, is a writer and also a professional singer, and draws on all of her experience to deliver very inspiring sessions.

Sandra Mossios, Director, Forensic and Investigation Services (Valuations) - Grant Thornton UK LLP

Shola was professional and friendly. She delivered an engaging speech and got our usually reluctant technology department interacting with each other which was great. Wonderful.

Francesca Laud at - Financial Conduct Authority

Shola was a key asset to our Women in Engineering event. Her energy lit up the room and her content was inspiring and relatable for every woman at the event. It was great to have Shola at our event to inspire current female students to strive for the best. Great energy and I’d love to work with Shola again sometime in the future.

Lynsey Cooper, Event and Project Manager - Nationwide

I reached out to Shola, following an introduction from a colleague within our inclusion team. I was looking for a speaker to complement our agenda for international women’s day which was attended by over 120 female entrepreneurs and internal female corporates. Shola was extremely professional, the feedback we received off the back of her talk was fantastic. The audience was inspired and constantly engaged throughout the session, making this a great way to open our event. I would highly recommend Shola for any organisation that is looking for an inspiring / motivational speaker on communication in the workplace. Shola – thank you once again for your support on the day and bringing such great energy to the event.

Victoria Legg, Business Growth Manager - NatWest

An eye-opener for me. I exercise empathy often however, I considered it more of a nice to have. Now I realise the importance of it in our day to day lives.

Achu Mani, Event Manager - Deloitte

Highly recommended, Shola’s approach is very engaging and effective. Shola ran a virtual session for us on personal brand in the workplace. The session was high energy and she encouraged the entire analytics team to participate via the chat and demonstrations. We came away with valuable insights and strategies that are easy to implement but will make a big difference to the way we communicate.

Amy Sinclair, Head of Analytics - Guardian News & Media

Shola ran an excellent virtual session for our delegates on Empathy in the workplace. The talk was informative, enjoyable and comprehensive. There were also high levels of interaction which engaged attendees from start to finish. The content was practical and a number of delegates mentioned that they will particularly benefit from Shola’s N.E.T. framework which will help them practise empathy in three simple steps. I highly recommend this virtual session to any organisation needing to boost inclusivity, employee engagement and emotional intelligence among their people.

Ellie O’Connor, Digital Content Assistant - We Are The City

I attended a webinar presented by Shola around the idea of Empathy and it was excellent. It gave me immediate ideas and actions for situations in my professional life and also points on how to be self-reflective and a better listener and how this will impact relationships with others and organisational change. Shola was incredibly engaging and I could see so many ways her presentation could be useful for people in a variety of situations.

Laura White Laws - Marsh & McLennan Companies

Thanks for an excellent session today. Not a comfortable area for me so your advice will be very helpful.

Simon Neal, Finance Director - ACCA Delegate
