She has made regular appearances on BBC Radio 4’s Front Row, BBC Radio Scotland’s MacCaulay & Co, BBC Radio 5 Live’s 7 Day Saturday & Sunday with Al Murray and has recently hosted The Comedy Club for BBC Radio Four Extra. Stevenson is the curator and host of London’s legendary stand-up night Old Rope, a weekly showcase of new material from both distinguished and up-and-coming acts. The show has enjoyed a succession of sell-out runs at the fringe and Stevenson’s solo Edinburgh stand-up shows Optimist, Uncomfortably Numb, Cavewoman, Dictators and Along Came a Spider have been met with critical acclaim at the festival, including the Mervyn Stutter’s Spirit of the Fringe Award in 2012 for Uncomfortably Numb.
Described by The Sunday Times as ‘funny, intelligent & defiant’, Stevenson is a fantastic host and comedian. Her no-nonsense style means she is more than capable of keeping even the trickiest of corporate audiences in check.
