Top Tech Speakers at CES

The 50th Annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) kicks off today in Las Vegas. One of the year’s biggest events for tech enthusiasts, it's likely going to feature new advancements in five major areas: augmented reality, autonomous cars, wearables, AI, and the cloud.

In addition, we happy to report that four LAI speakers are speaking at the conference this year:

Gary Shapiro is the President and CEO of the Consumer Technology Association, the association behind CES. He closely watches the best in future technology from top companies and startups, and explains in fascinating detail the trends that will disrupt and revolutionize businesses and why. Check out this recent article to see the emerging trends he’s most excited about at CES 2017.

Shawn Dubravac is the chief economist and senior director of research for the Consumer Technology Association. His speeches are gadget-filled and highly customizable but also cut through current product excitement to explore which experimental technologies will really be relevant in 5-7 years time. In the meantime, read Shawn’s predictions for what will sell big in 2017.

Dr. Daniel Kraft is a repeat TED speaker and the Harvard and Stanford-trained head of the medicine track at Singularity University (whose founders hail from X Prize and Google). He shares how disruptive technology is reinventing the future of health and medicine while demoing the industry’s most revolutionary new gadgets. Watch Dr. Kraft’s TED talk about the future of medicine.
