Increasingly, we are asked about speakers who can provide insight into “difficult conversations.” Be they with staff, investors or stakeholders, there is growing interest in how to approach them and how to make them productive. If this is a topic you’d be interested in we are now working with two experts who can help your team to improve communication, negotiation, and persuasion.

Julian Treasure

Expert on powerful speaking and listening skills

Julian Treasure is a five-time TED speaker who delivered the 6th most-watched TED talk of all time, “How to Speak so That People Want to Listen.” He is also the founder of global communications consultancy The Sound Agency and the author of the books How to be Heard and Sound Business. In presentations, Treasure helps groups understand the how-to’s of powerful communication—from vocal exercises, to tips for speaking with empathy, to conscious listening—to help improve meetings, negotiations, and personal relationships.

Julie Leitz

Psychologist and Neuroscientist

Julie Leitz works to help groups be better at having difficult conversations. Her expertise includes working to allow those moments of conflict to fuel growth and peak performance. The founder of School of Conflict, she holds a Masters of Science in Neuroscience from Oxford. Whether dealing with a difficult client, providing feedback to a superior or peer, or working through a restructuring or new partnership, you will benefit from Leitz’s advice, which she says can help companies who are “losing billions of dollars” each year just as a result of poor communication.
