As the general manager of the 49ers, Lynch has been credited with helping to rebuild the team and leading them to success. Under his leadership, the 49ers reached the Super Bowl in 2019 and the NFC Championship Game in 2021. He was named Executive of the Year in 2019. Off the field, Lynch is known for his philanthropy work. Arthur C. Brooks is a professor at the Harvard Kennedy School and the Harvard Business School, where he teaches courses on leadership and happiness. Brooks then spent the next 10 years as a university professor at Syracuse University, where he taught economics and nonprofit management. Jim Harbaugh was named the Los Angeles Chargers head coach on January 24, 2024. Jim Harbaugh has been the head coach of the University of Michigan football team for nine seasons. He was named the 20th coach in Michigan football history in 2014 and is the sixth former Michigan football player to be named the leader of college football's winningest program.
