Dan Cnossen is a Paralympic biathlete, cross-country skier, and former Navy SEAL platoon commander. In the fall of 2003, Dan became one of only 16 members from his Naval Academy class to enter the Navy SEAL program. Over the next six years, Dan was deployed multiple times to Iraq and Afghanistan and rose in rank to become the officer-in-charge of an 18-man SEAL platoon. In 2009, while serving in an area of heavy combat in Afghanistan, Dan stepped on an IED, losing both legs in the blast. He would later be awarded a Purple Heart and Bronze Star with Valor. For the next two years Dan fought for his life, enduring over 40 different surgeries, while readjusting to civilian life. It was during this time, as part of his rehab, that he was introduced to the sports of cross-country skiing and biathlon. Never one to shy from a challenge, he eventually earned a spot on the 2014 U.S. Paralympic Team. In 2015, Dan returned to graduate school, earning two degrees from Harvard University. At the 2018 Paralympic Games, Dan stole the show, remarkably winning one gold, four silver, and one bronze medal over a period of eight days and earning the honor of Best Male Athlete of The Games.

Milt Lowder, Ph.D. is the Founder and CEO of Amplos, a performance psychology practice whose primary focus is to enhance and optimize people, teams, and organizations. Dr. Lowder, a 1994 graduate of Clemson University, completed his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Organizational Development from the University of Kentucky. Since 2005, he has also served as the Sport Psychologist for the Clemson University Athletic Department, where he works with student-athletes, teams, and coaches to improve their performance and help them be their best, on and off the field. He primarily works with Football, Men's Basketball, Men's Soccer, and Men's golf and has created a monthly Leadership Academy for all of the Head Coaches. Alex Edmans is Professor of Finance at London Business School. Alex graduated from Oxford University and then worked for Morgan Stanley in investment banking (London) and fixed income sales and trading (New York). After a PhD in Finance from MIT Sloan as a Fulbright Scholar, he joined Wharton in 2007 and was tenured in 2013 shortly before moving to LBS.

Dr. Brannon is a performance psychologist and serves as a partner with AMPLOS. Dr. Brannon completed his psychology doctoral training the University of Georgia, while focusing on a dual track of counseling and sport/performance psychology. In his role at AMPLOS, Dr. Brannon provides performance psychology and consulting services in the areas of performance enhancement, leadership development, culture assessment, and keynote addresses. In addition, he serves as the Consulting Sport Psychologist to University of Georgia Football. In the corporate setting, Dr. Brannon has worked with executive leaders and professionals in industries including healthcare, law, pharmaceutical, finance, medical device, and engineering. New York Jets Head Coach and the NFL’s first Muslim American head coach, Robert Saleh has been praised by Richard Sherman, former NFL cornerback, as a “great leader of men.” After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Northern Michigan, playing tight end and earning all-conference honors on the football team, Saleh entered his career as an NFL coach and exuberant leader on and off the field. Matt Rhule is a forward-thinking coach determined to lead his team to success. While earning his Bachelors of Arts in Political Science at Penn State, Rhule walked onto the football team as a linebacker, played four years under coach Joe Paterno and was a three-time Penn State Scholar- Athlete. Later, he continued his education and completed his Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Buffalo in 2003. Rhule has 10 years of head coaching experience under his belt between his time at Temple University, Baylor University, Carolina Panthers, and most recently Nebraska Cornhuskers. Under Rhule’s leadership, Baylor became the first Power 5 program to go from 11 losses (2017) to 11 wins (2019) within two seasons. He was named Big 12 Coach of the Year and AP Big 12 Coach of the Year (2019). Following his successful head coaching terms at Temple (2013-2016) and Baylor (2017-2019), leading both programs to consecutive bowl appearances in his last two seasons, Rhule was named Carolina Panthers head coach before transitioning to head coach at University of Nebraska—Lincoln. Now entering his 25th year in a coaching position, Rhule has shared his determined mindset around coaching without the pressure of job status or winning every game. He shares how his main focus for his team’s success lies in inspiring his team to want to consistently improve and show up for one another, as well as the fans.
